Note: This review was a little shorter than usual due to a backlog of posts.

Following my review of episode 3, firstly, Lady Eve continues to impress. She doesn’t have to yell or show her physical strength to prove she’s a threat and I love that. She doesn’t seem to be as hot-headed as Tobias which I love. That scene with her in the morgue was really gross and made the whole thing really uncomfortable but in a good way.

Anissa stopping those girls from getting drugs just shows that she’s a good person who wants to help people regardless of whether she uses her powers or not. This makes me super excited to see her become an actual hero because if she already has that incentive it’s going to be amazing amplified. We eve see her stand up for Black Lighting in front of everyone at dinner and speak out about what’s doing and how it’s a good thing.

Despite this, we do see the negative side when Grace gets hurt. You can see Anissa’s concern and it’ll be interesting to see how events like this fuel or deter her.

I knew things would only get worse with Khalil. Not only has he lost the ability walk, but now Tobias is manipulating him into blaming Black Lightning for what happened. I feel like Khalil is going to get hurt even more in the crossfire and I wonder what will happen when he finds out that it was Tobias that shot him.
