After seeing this movie I can safely say that is incredibly important that it isn’t spoiled by anyone. There is a lot that could be spoiled so I would be surprised if you find out everything before you get the chance to see it.

Having seen all of the trailers (and other promotional material) as well as watching/reading some interviews, most of the movie was a complete surprise. There were a couple of scenes here and there which would have been better if they weren’t in the trailer but those were minor, everything else is severely out of context in the promotional material meaning that the movie is a completely new experience.

Considering the number of characters and locations they have throughout the movie, it transitions well and the story progression is natural. There were a few characters I wish we had seen more of but considering the sheer size of Infinity War, it’s not that disappointing. The fact that we see as many as we do is fantastic especially when none of them feel shoehorned in. Every single one of them is completely in character and the majority of them serve some kind of purpose to the plot.

Infinity War in a way is a blending of the movies, characters, settings, etc. that we’ve had so far in the cinematic universe and it manages to bring a good mixture of each while also bringing something new to the table. It is equal parts funny and sad. There’s a lot of action but it’s not over the top. Infinity Wars is an incredible balance and does just about everything right to keep you engrossed.

Honestly, any complaints about this movie are minimal and most of them could be carried on in the next installment of the Avengers story (and other movies perhaps). I feel like most of my complaints and negative opinions will come out after we see the fourth movie next year.

I can’t say for sure if Infinity War is my favourite movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe but it’s definitely my favourite movie of 2018 so far. It really is worth watching and I can’t fully explain why without spoiling a ton of things so if you get the opportunity please go and check this movie out. It went far beyond my expectations and is definitely a Marvel release you don’t want to miss.
