After the flashback episode last week, I’d forgotten that Johnny, D’avin and Delle Seyah Kendry were stuck on that elevator together. That little montage we saw of what they got up to was hilarious and a part of me does wish we had seen more of that, but hopefully, we get similar moments in the future. If things work out after this episode that is.

Johnny was hilarious this episode but I don’t think I can handle too many episodes with him like this so hopefully, he goes back to normal soon. We saw that he was starting to hear Dutch speaking to him so he has an anchor and hasn’t changed completely just yet. At the end of the episode, he’s on his way to get green plasma so perhaps that’ll change everything but elsewhere we know Zeph and co are looking for Lucy who will help them find the boys, that could change everything and get Johnny some help before it’s too late.

Speaking of Zeph, she kicked some serious ass this episode! I forgot how much I loved her in all honesty. Everyone around her seemed so impressed, going so far as to get her whatever she needed for her plan to work. I also loved that Pip offered to go along with her even though the journey they needed to take could be dangerous.

The team-up between Zeph and Pip was something I didn’t know I needed and I’m really hoping for more of it. Although, there is the little problem that Pip probably has one of those spiders inside of him. If he did remember he would tell Zeph about it or freak out so much that he couldn’t hide it so either he’s genuinely unaware and has forgotten what happened or he’s pretending like he doesn’t know and the spider is controlling/influencing him. Either way, they’re going to need to get that sorted real quick because surprisingly enough, I don’t want anything to happen to Pip.

Really, at this point, it’s a waiting game to see if they all reunite and what happens to those who are in tricky situations. Will Pip be helped before the spider does anything? Will Johnny return to normal? Will Kendry and co be safe now that the guards have arrived? We also don’t know what Lucy’s state is or how things are going for Dutch in the green. With everything up in the air at this point, I feel like next week’s episode is going to be a tense one, which is good considering this one was oddly hilarious at times and the first episode gave a very nostalgic and lighthearted vibe a lot of the time.

Some other things:

  • Gared and Pree continue to be the best and I really hope they continue to be happy and survive until the end of the show’s lifespan.
  • Kendry realising that she, Aneela, Dutch, Johnny, and D’avin are all a family. – “Oh, we are no a family. I mean, they’re brothers. And one of them is the baby’s genetic father. And my girlfriend is the mm, sort of sister-mother of their girlfriend?”
  • Johnny showed some skill with a gun this episode which was a beautiful sight to see. As was seeing a heavily pregnant Kendry kick some ass.
  • Pip and Zeph hiding out together was really great too, and also how he is actively trying to be a new, better person than he was before.
