This new episode of Gotham sees the return of Harvey’s old partner, Dix. When we first see him, he’s no longer in a wheelchair as he shows up to Sirens to talk to two retired cops, Boggs and Lewis, who worked around the same time he did. He asks if they ever think about what they all did to the girl and once Dix leaves the two end up dead on the floor.

Good Girls Season 2 Episode 2: ‘Slow Down, Children at Play’ Review

[Header Image: Christina Hendricks as Beth Boland and Manny Montana as Rio | NBC]

Oh, man, what an episode. I’m honestly still a little in shock. Generally speaking Good Girls is one of my favourite shows of all time, partly because every episode is so good and it never seems to let me down. That being said, I’m never actually prepared for how good this show is.

Tonight’s episode sees Beth, Annie, and Ruby trying to follow through with Rio’s orders to clean up their mess. At first we see them make plans and later gather to confront Boomer. It’s kind of unsurprising that Beth would be unable to shoot him. She couldn’t do it to Rio which yes, is partly to do with the fact that there is clearly something between them even if they can’t define it, but it’s also because she’s a good person and clearly this is her line. Annie says she could have shot Boomer but honestly, unless she’s in the moment, I really don’t think there’s anyway to confirm that. However, even if she could, I get it. Boomer has been making her life a misery long before they robbed the grocery store. Regardless, Boomer doesn’t get killed this episode which I know we’re all disappointed at but at least the payoff is going to be so good when it finally happens.

Good Girls Season 2 Episode 1: ‘I’d Rather Be Crafting’ Review

[Header Image: Christina Hendricks as Beth Boland | NBC]

What is probably one of my favourite shows of all time — Good Girls — is back on my screen again with brand new content and I’m so excited. Similarly to the first episode of season 1, this episode gives you just enough to know what a wild ride season 2 is going to be. You get a taste but there are still so many unanswered questions that will (hopefully) be answered by the end of the season. This time we pick up right where the season 1 finale ended with it backtracking ever so slightly to give us some extra details.

10 Things I Want to See in ‘Good Girls’ Season 2

With season 2 right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put up a blog post talking about the 10 things I want to see throughout with the intention of revisiting it when the season is over to find out if I got any of the content I’m hoping for and discussing that regardless of whether I did or not.

Something to consider, this post contains spoilers for season 1 so if you haven’t seen it I would recommend clicking away but also, go and watch it! You won’t be disappointed. Also, the images in this post are from season 1 and the list is in no particular order.

With that being said, let’s get into it!

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 13: ‘Requiem for a Welterweight’ Review

[Header Image: Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, and Trinity Likins as Jellybean Jones | The CW]

In this weeks episode, we see that Archie is training with Tom Keller and while at the gym one day, he agrees to fight one of Elio’s best fighters. At first, he plans to throw the fight but then decides against it. It’s a risk because changing his mind means that Elio’s fighter might try to kill Archie instead of just knocking him down. The fighting gets more and more intense but luckily Archie manages to keep things going until the bell rings. He doesn’t win the fight but at least he wasn’t killed in the ring either.

Gotham Season 5 Episode 7: ‘Ace Chemicals’ Review

[Header Image: Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins, Cameron Monaghan as Jeremiah Valeska, and Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon | Fox]

This episode of Gotham was primarily a Jeremiah episode. We finally find out what he’s been up to. It turns out that he turned two people into Martha and Thomas Wayne so he could reenact the night they were killed, only this time he would be the gunman. Jeremiah did this in the hopes of forming a connection between him and Bruce and naturally because this is Gotham things don’t go entirely to plan.
