Most of this episode followed the fallout from the reveal that Eduardo and his boss Walker were controlling Ed and were involved in blowing up Haven. We pick up immediately after the previous episode with Jim running away and Ed coming after him. Luckily, after hiding out in an ambulance, Jim uses a defibrillator to shock Ed which fries the chip in his brain. This gives them a chance to meet with Barbara and, later, Bruce, Alfred, and Lucius in order to figure out a plan of what to do next, however, things aren’t so simple.
After burning the drugs last week, Hermione tells Veronica and Reggie that they’re going to have to make up the money and pay back the buyer. Veronica tries to take whatever money she can from Pop’s and the Speakeasy but comes up short leading Reggie to an idea that involves stealing money from his father’s dealership. The plan almost goes perfectly (minus Reggie getting shot in the arm) until Reggie opens up the bag to reveal a dye pack that explodes all over him and the money. Regardless, they go to take what money they can to the buyer who we discover his Gladys Jones.

After last week’s episode, Jim takes Barbara’s lead and, along with Harvey, he goes to see the man who sold the RPG that blew up Haven but he brings out various men with weapons. They seem to be surrounded until Eduardo Dorrance (aka Bane, played by Shane West) and his team come crashing through the window and take everyone out, saving Jim and Harvey. It seems that Jim and Eduardo served together, and the latter has been sent in to help restore order to Gotham and then get help for those who need it. I have been looking forward to seeing Shane West on my screen again, especially in this, ever since it was announced and boy, it didn’t disappoint.

In the previous episode of Riverdale we saw Hiram get shot by an unknown assailant and this week’s episode was all about figuring out who did it. We see Veronica hire Jughead to investigate and find answers which we do get before the end of the episode.

This episode takes place immediately after the previous episode with the chaos at Haven after the explosion. We find out a little into the episode that more than 300 people are dead with several seriously injured and some missing. Tensions are naturally high and Lucius sets to work to find out what happened and why.

The episode starts with the revelation that Archie is still alive after the bear attack (not really a surprise) and he’s finally returning to Riverdale, realising that he can’t keep running. We see his chest throughout the episode and the area where the bear struck him seems to be healed and even scarring over, implying it’s been a while since the last episode in canon.
