Another season of Good Girls is officially over and now starts the long wait for season 3. Thank goodness we do have another season though because while ‘King’ was definitely an interesting watch, it would have been a pretty painful end for the show. Not everything that we’ve seen so far was concluded and it certainly opened the doors for even more possibilities moving forward.

There was some pretty strong focus on Mary Pat this week and we finally back track to episode 3 of this season where Boomer supposedly “died.” Something always felt off to me about that episode. While I was excited, like most people, that Boomer finally got what was coming to him, it did feel really sudden and never quite sat right. Well, now we know that it’s because Boomer was never really dead and has in fact been hiding out this entire time.

Another season of Riverdale comes to an end and I have to say, it was surprisingly good. I’ve said it before but the pacing and structure this season wasn’t very good. It was incredibly messy and just felt like things were being dragged out. Although, at least we got some kind of conclusion to the G&G content and the Farm content while also finally putting an end to the Black Hood.

This episode was really about the girls trying to sort out some messes and it ended up being one the most hilarious and entertaining episodes of the season as well as continuing to push the narrative forward towards the finale.
Over time, Beth is being sent body parts from Rio that they assume are Boomer’s but she simply ignores them. That whole montage of her putting the parts down the sink was one the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen. I love that it got increasingly worse for her to the point that she stormed right up to him in the park to demand what he wants which really opens the episode up to the messes that the trio are going to have to figure out.

While there is one more episode after this one, this really was the finale to the show we’ve been watching these past few years. It closed up everything we’ve been experiencing while episode 12 is more of a flash forward to show us what life is like in Gotham 10 years into the future.
I actually put off watching these final 2 episodes because I couldn’t bring myself around to do it, however, now that I’ve seen them I have to say that episode 11 was a really simple but great way to finish up the story of Gotham. There wasn’t too much going on and the episode didn’t feel like it jumped around as much as they usually do. It meant that none of it felt particularly rushed or overdone.

During her time at the Farm, Betty continues to do more investigating and she finally gets more answers. It turns out that the Farm is taking organs (mostly kidneys) from its members and selling them under the guise of it being some kind of special treatment. We also got confirmation that people seeing their loved ones was faked. When Betty goes into the room she sees the darker version of herself and the Farm/Edgar try to convince her that that darker side is her true self and she has the gene that will make her a serial killer like Hal. It was really no surprise that it turned out to be Polly dressed up to look like Betty. I definitely didn’t expect the organ thing to be what the Farm was up to and I just hope that this new revelation isn’t going to drag their story on for too much longer. I feel like it might considering it’s completely new information but at the same time, the Farm has really become a focal point a little too late into the season and so I’m already over it.
