Riverdale Season 3 Episode 21: ‘The Dark Secret of Harvest House’ Review

During her time at the Farm, Betty continues to do more investigating and she finally gets more answers. It turns out that the Farm is taking organs (mostly kidneys) from its members and selling them under the guise of it being some kind of special treatment. We also got confirmation that people seeing their loved ones was faked. When Betty goes into the room she sees the darker version of herself and the Farm/Edgar try to convince her that that darker side is her true self and she has the gene that will make her a serial killer like Hal. It was really no surprise that it turned out to be Polly dressed up to look like Betty. I definitely didn’t expect the organ thing to be what the Farm was up to and I just hope that this new revelation isn’t going to drag their story on for too much longer. I feel like it might considering it’s completely new information but at the same time, the Farm has really become a focal point a little too late into the season and so I’m already over it.

Good Girls Season 2 Episode 10: ‘This Land Is Your Land’ Review

I was actually one of those people who read the spoiler article about this episode that leaked and I have to say, it didn’t ruin it at all. Although I knew most of what was coming, there was enough detail left out and I can safely say that this episode was really very good and things definitely aren’t slowing down any time soon. I doubt they will either which means the rest of season two is most likely going to be a wild ride.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 20: ‘Prom Night’ Review

[Header Image: Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones and Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper | The CW]

The biggest thing to happen this episode was the actual prom. Throughout the episode, Jughead and Betty have been trying to figure out who the Gargoyle King is. For a moment they suspect Edgar but are quickly disproved but not all is lost because they realise that the King will probably show up at prom. Watching Jughead and Betty investigate was actually really fun and gave me old school Riverdale vibes, I’ve definitely missed it a lot but things really did pick up by the time we got to prom.

Last week we saw that Jellybean had become involved in G&G and this week we see the Jones family work together to get her back. Finally, the truth about Gladys is out and as suspected, FP isn’t happy about it.

Good Girls Season 2 Episode 9: ‘One Last Time’ Review

I feel like this episode and last week’s one are like the calm before the storm. While big (and arguably dramatic) things did happen, it looks and feels as if things are going to get more amped up during the rest of the season. The episode starts with a scene I knew was coming but was absolutely not prepared for. It was heartwarming to see the Hill family attempt to get ready for the day especially when Stan played the piano knowing that it would wake the kids up. They’re such a wholesome family that have been through a lot so it was nice to get a little moment like this. Only it doesn’t last too long before it’s ripped away by Turner when he shows up to arrest Stan.

Good Girls Season 2 Episode 8: ‘Thelma & Louise’ Review

It’s been several hours, I’ve even slept in that time, and I’m still not over how good this episode was. It was by far one of the best of Good Girls to date. Looking back over the episode to write this review, I genuinely can’t pick a favourite moment because it was all equally compelling. Even with Dean being annoying or Turner continuing to be frustrating, everything about this episode drew you in and overall there was this perfect balance between the comedy and the more dramatic side of the show.
